You may experience the following error message when attempting to search for a proxy account in the AD Self-Service Suite Admin:
An error is also logged to the Application Event Log under the Event ID 1309.
1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. In the Connections pane on the left hand side, expand the Server node and click on Application Pools. In the Application Pools pane, right click the ADSelfService application pool and click Advanced Settings.
2. In the Advanced Settings window that appears, under the (General) section, click on the drop down across from .NET Framework Version and change this setting to v2.0. Click OK when finished.
3. Reload the AD Self-Service Suite Admin. You will now be able to search for a proxy account without receiving the error.
